Orijem, Timor-Leste - Espresso Single Origin
This washed lot is produced at Jemi Timor’s wet mill, Centru Kafe, in the municipality of Aileu. Constructed in 2023, Centru Kafe is Timor-Leste’s first environmentally sustainable coffee mill, developed in collaboration with Orijem Timor and the Australian Government. The mill features an integrated wastewater treatment facility, biogas harvester and seedling nursery. Ahead of the 2026 harvest, Centru Kafe also transitioned its primary energy source to solar.
This lot showcases the distinctive characteristics of Hibrido de Timor, a variety known for its disease resistance and unique cup profile, combining the complexity of Arabica with the subtle strength of its Robusta heritage.
Expect a balanced, clean espresso with a long, sweet hazelnut finish.
